Marla Munsen
A Nebraska native, Marla moved to Springfield to play collegiate basketball and volleyball at Drury University. Following graduation, I decided to pursue a degree in physical therapy and chose Missouri State University Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Learn More
I graduated from MSU in 2017 and discovered Advantage Therapy, which is now the Ozzie Smith Center! My background in athletics, and my own ACL
reconstruction in high school led me to a career in Physical Therapy. Prior to considering PT, I was in a pre-pharmacy program but quickly learned while working in a pharmacy that I wanted more patient interaction and to work in a dynamic clinic setting rather than a cold, white room. Chronic pain is one of my therapeutic interests, and I am learning more manual therapy techniques along the way to bring much-needed relief to people struggling with chronic pain. Besides chronic pain, I am very interested in treating sports injuries as well as neurological rehabilitation.
Committed to Success without Surgery & Opioids.
